Clinical Nurse Specialist - Pain Management - Greenslopes Private Hospital
Permanent Part Time
Step Into a Specialist Role That Makes a Real Difference
Are you an experienced nurse ready to elevate your career in pain management? Join the team at the Cyril Gilbert Cancer Centre and Ward 21 and play a vital role in delivering exceptional, patient-centred care.
Take the Lead in Specialist Care
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of coordinating both inpatient and outpatient services—managing appointments, overseeing intrathecal pump refills, and empowering patients through education. You’ll collaborate closely with Visiting Medical Officers and a multidisciplinary team across pharmacy, allied health, theatre, and nursing, while also supporting staff education and clinical competency.
Bring Your Expertise and Make an Impact
We’re looking for a confident, organised clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and communicates with clarity and compassion. You’ll work autonomously, provide expert clinical guidance, and ensure the highest standards of safety and care.
You’ll Stand Out If You Have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Pain Management
- Strong clinical judgement, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A sharp eye for detail—especially in intrathecal pump management and patient assessment
Most importantly, you care.
Your compassion and commitment will help support patients, families, and carers through some of their most challenging moments.
