Join us as our Clinical Nurse Educator – Recovery, where you will take on a diverse array of responsibilities including:
- Welcoming new staff , students and visitors to our Operating Theatre department
- Organising unit-based and hospital-wide-in-services and study days
- Developing and reviewing policies
- Leading quality improvement projects
- Overseeing clinical and documentation audits within the department
- Managing both the direct entry New Graduate Program and Post Graduate program for Recovery staff
- Participation in hospital wide mandatory training program.
About You:
In this role, your positive attitude, adept prioritization, delegation skills, adaptability and exceptional time management are paramount.
Additionally, you will possess:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- A minimum of 4 years of nursing experience post basic registration
- Extensive and comprehensive knowledge in Recovery (post-anaesthetic) nursing
- Flexibility to work varying shifts
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a commitment to achieving it (desirable)
- Experience in Paediatric and Cardiac Nursing (desirable)
