About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a Theatre Assistant on a permanent part-time basis.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Working with and assisting clinical staff
  • Cleaning and waste removal
  • Ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checked.
  • Transporting patients between wards

 

 

About You

You will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures. You will be a motivated, positive individual and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

While experience is not necessary in this role, an interest in patient care is essential to succeed.

 

 

You will also bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently as required
  • Excellent patient and customer service focus
  • Be available for a range of shifts across a 7 day rotating roster
  • Prior experience in a similar role (Desirable)

 

 

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $31.20 - $35.69 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
