About the Role

The Clinical Systems Program is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join us at the beginning of a significant multi-year program to procure and implement a suite of new clinical information systems, including an Electronic Health Record (EHR).

As a Senior Business Analyst in this role, you will:

  • Play a critical role in analysing business processes and identifying areas for change
  • Provide strategic recommendations to support decision making to deliver the many accompanying clinical systems across Ramsay, starting with the evaluation and implementation of a suite of precursor and dependent projects
  • Help shape Ramsay’s readiness for our operational, clinical, and digital transformation to come

This role has the potential for significant growth into the broader EHR project once it is kicked off.

 

About You

We're looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual with strong collaboration and communication skills. The ideal candidate excels both in teamwork and independent work and is keen to contribute their dynamic skills to a collaborative environment.

 

Your Essential Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years Business Analyst experience within large complex environments in the digital domain
  • Experience within the health industry
  • Experience with electronic health records, clinical information systems or patient administration systems
  • Experienced in traditional BA responsibilities such as running discovery workshops, facilitating ideation sessions, current state analysis, gap analysis, feasibility analysis and process mapping
  • Customer-centric mindset, coupled with the ability to question and enhance the customer experience
  • Confident in progressing project/product concepts through requirements gathering, user journey and business capability mapping
  • A structured approach to capturing requirements in various formats (use cases, Agile backlog, or waterfall document)
  • Knowledge of estimation and sizing methodologies and procedures
  • Experience in collaborating with sponsors, product owners and subject matter experts to effectively translate requirements into platform capabilities. 

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of large-scale technology solutions
  • Consulting experience with an aptitude for scoping and proposing solutions to complex problems
