About the Role

Join our theatre department! We have casual and permanent part-time opportunities available for scrub scout RNs to enhance their skills within the orthopaedic and plastics specialties.

Your Skills and Experience

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in an acute health care setting
• Experience as a scrub scout nurse, orthopaedics and plastics desirable
• Availability to work across a Monday – Friday roster. No weekend shifts!
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.39 - $ 47.55 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $67,957.76 - $93,965.04]

About Our Hospital

Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie specialises in providing care for private short-stay patients undergoing orthopaedic and specialist surgery. The hospital’s purpose-designed day stay area has 12 beds. There are a further 19 beds for patients requiring overnight care. Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie is in Hawthorn diagonally opposite the Glenferrie Oval with plenty of parking. It is a 5 minute walk from Glenferrie Road which is serviced by trams and trains.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
