Clinical Nurse Manager – Private Theatres

Permanent full-time Opportunity | Joondalup Health Campus

 

The Opportunity

As a valued member of the Joondalup Private Hospital team the Clinical Nurse Manager – Private Theatres will be responsible for leading clinical elements of the Joondalup Private Hospital Project, then transitioning into managing the Joondalup Private Theatre Complex. 

In collaboration with the Hospital Development Project Director, this position will be responsible for managing the Hospital Operational Commissioning (HOC) process and activities in relation to the Private Theatre Service.

This will include, but is not limited to:

  • Preparing and implementing a HOC Plan for all aspects for clinical service delivery in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • Convening commissioning meetings
  • Coordinating and providing support for the departmental commissioning of processes including compliance and accreditation, program staffing needs and establishing staff training and orientation
  • Responsibility for all aspects in the management of Clinical FFE (Furniture, Fittings & Equipment)
  • Assist the Hospital Development Project Director with interface between the construction project team and all hospital stakeholders

This is a key leadership and management role within the Hospital and is accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources within the department.

 

Your Key Skills and Experience

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills to effectively represent the organisation in line with company values
  • Extensive clinical skills and experience within perioperative nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously and within a high performing team
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and management skills
  • An understanding of Private Hospital Licensing and Accreditation
  • Experience in Hospital FFE management and procurement highly regarded
  • Experience in commissioning new hospital facilities or services highly regarded

Requirements
