New opportunity to join our Cancer Care Team! Permanent part-time position offering 30 hours per fortnight to the right candidate.

 

About the Role

Peninsula Private is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and forward-thinking individual to undertake the role of Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Coordinator working as part of the Cancer team at Peninsula Private Hospital.

The successful applicant will be an integral part of the MDT team, preparing all documentation for all cancer patients being presented at an MDT which in turn helps to support in achieving and sustaining cancer targets. 

You will be responsible for the co-ordination and organisation of the MDT meetings and attend those meetings obtaining and recording relevant information.

We would like to hear from people who work effectively with a multidisciplinary team towards common shared goals, aligned with improved access to high quality care for patients.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in oncology nursing or relevant experience in advanced practice
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Oncology or related field will be highly regarded
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and independently as required
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven project management skills with sound organisational and change management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills

About Our Hospital

Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 344 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. The hospital currently accommodates a 14 bay emergency department, 226 medical and surgical, 36 cardiac, 11 ICU, 7 Neonatal, 14 Obstetric, and 30 Oncology beds which include 15 day infusion chairs. As a fully accredited health care facility we offer the highest standards of clinical care, patient service, and technology.

 

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
