  • Clinical Nurse Specialist with rehabilitation experience required to join our team at Dudley Private Hospital.

 

 

About the Opportunity

Dudley Hospital general ward admits a range of medical/surgical and rehabilitation patients. Rehabilitation patients may be post-op, reconditioning after surgery, accidents, medical conditions.

We liaise with hospitals based in metro areas and are a major referral centre for rehabilitation services in the central west. We have allied health on site and offer general rehab and cardiac specific rehab outpatient program. We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Registered Nurse with a particular interest in rehabilitation nursing.

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting, be passionate about utilising evidence-based practice and thrive when working within a varied and fast-paced environment.

You will also meet the following criteria:

  • Registered with AHPRA
  • Minimum Three (3) years’ post graduate experience in a hospital setting
  • Minimum Three (3) years’ as a Registered Nurse with experience in rehabilitation Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant legislation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently as required
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service and time management skills
  • Ability to assess, plan, co-ordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practice
  • Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement processes

 

 

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or working towards
  • Experience as a resource and mentor to others in the relation to clinical practice

 

 

Remuneration

On offer is a bases hourly rate of $53.56 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Specialist)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
