Permanent part-time opportunity for a CSSD Technician to join our team!
About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping, sterilisation and reprocessing of surgical instruments and medical equipment for St George Private Hospital’s Endoscopy department.
This role is a critical part of the surgical process that will see you working efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines.
Duties may include but are not limited to;
- Provide timely reprocessing of endoscopes and auxiliary equipment.
- You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various endoscopy suites and CSSD whilst practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the Endoscopy department.
Monday – Friday only – have your weekends free!
Your Skills and Experience
- Cert 3 qualification in Sterilising Services
- Prior experience working in a Sterilising Unit and/or reprocessing endoscopes
- Your positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team and independently as required
- You will be customer service oriented in both internal and external settings
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $29.36 - $37.60 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
