Join our dynamic team at Ramsay Health Care as a Business Development Manager on the Sunshine Coast, Qld.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Growth and Marketing Manager, this role will work closely with the State Manager and Hospital CEOs to deliver growth in hospital activity through the recruitment and retention of medical specialists as well as new and expanded business opportunities.

This will involve market research, strategy development, lead generation, and fostering relationships with healthcare professionals. 

• 2 year fixed-term, full-time contract
• Position is based on the Sunshine Coast, Qld

About You

To succeed in this role, you must be a dynamic and self-driven professional with strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to identify business growth opportunities and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

You must also demonstrate:

• Relevant experience in a similar role in health care, executing business development strategies in complex environments
• Experience in seeking out marketing intelligence and using data and research to drive identification of new business opportunities in the local healthcare market
• In-depth understanding of medical specialists and the relationship with referrers including GPs, other specialists and healthcare professionals
• Experience in lead generation, conversion and onboarding
• Ability to maintain and grow our database, ensuring accurate and detailed records
• Ability to identify and leverage opportunities to accelerate results and meet stakeholder needs.
• Experience achieving set targets and KPIs and providing regular reports to evaluate effectiveness of activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Open driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as required

Requirements

• A National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months may be asked of you
• According to the role, Ramsay may require proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
