The Opportunity

Ramsay Australia is seeking an IAM Operations Lead to oversee the daily operations of our Digital Identity and Access Management services. This role entails maintaining uninterrupted IAM services while leading teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality service delivery. The IAM Operations Lead will leverage their specialised expertise in the IAM domain to provide strategic leadership, facilitating smooth day-to-day operations and effective communication. This position contributes significantly to secure digital transformation initiatives and enhances customer satisfaction, making it a vital component of our organisational success. Please note, this role can be based in any state across Australia.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the entire user identity lifecycle, encompassing provisioning, de-provisioning, and modifications to ensure accurate access management, including SSO, MFA and Remote Access Management solutions.
  • Monitor and analyse incidents related to IAM services and unauthorised access, providing root cause analysis, and serving as the incident response manager.
  • Lead the IAM Operations team, ensuring adherence to service availability targets and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Take ownership of routine IAM activities, encompassing access controls, permissions, user provisioning, application patching and upgrades, certificate management, business-as-usual health checks, and service maintenance.
  • Perform regular platform audits to verify security compliance policies, identify potential vulnerabilities, and apply patches.
  • Produce detailed reports on access control metrics, compliance status, and incident response activities for stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and enhance service performance.
  • Implement IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices to optimise service delivery and enhance operational efficiency.

Your Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in User Lifecycle Management, with a focus on onboarding and offboarding users digital accounts.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for IAM operations, serving as a subject matter expert for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and address business process gaps through the problem management.
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management principles, such as: Principle of Least Privilege, Privileged Access Management, Authentication and Authorisation and Access Control Lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud based IAM solutions, including Okta, Okta Workflow Management, Azure AD, and CyberArk.
  • Experience in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared goals. 
  • A track record in team leadership, managing vendor relationships, and optimising IAM service delivery.

Desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Systems, or Computer Science.
  • Demonstrated experience with industry frameworks and regulations, including NIST, Essential 8, Privacy, ISO 27001, and AHPRA.
  • Proven expertise in managing customer identity access management, workforce identity access management, and privileged access management solutions.
  • Proficient in IAM tools and solutions such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Lifecycle Management (LCM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Strong capacity to make pragmatic decisions and deliver recommendations in practical scenarios.
