About the Role

Working in our team will see you assigned to a variety of shifts based on your availability across our Mental Health ward. Your key responsibility will be the evaluation, planning and delivery of care to the patients in the ward.

As a member of our clinical team you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients. 

 

 

About You

The flexibility to handle a rotating roster will be crucial to this role.

You will need to have the following:

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse Enrolled Nurse IV Qualified.
  • Proven acute care experience post AHPRA registration in a hospital environment is essential.
  • 2 years specialty mental health experience is essential.
  • Any postgraduate qualifications within mental health will be highly regarded.

 

 

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from:

Enrolled Nurse (medication Endorsed) - $32.96 - $35.88 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW EN gr1-thereafter) [FTE $65,128.96 - $70,898.88] 

Registered Nurse - $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]

 

 

About the Organisation

Ramsay Health Care has had a long association with Coffs Harbour having established Baringa Private Hospital in 1978 as its first medical /surgical hospital and its first hospital outside of Sydney.

Baringa Private Hospital is a 78 bed licensed hospital, providing advanced surgery, interventional coronary angiography including the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, ICU, endovascular & general surgery, general medical, rehabilitation, palliative care and mental health. Our theatre complex offers state of the art operating facilities, including a newly commissioned ophthalmic theatre. Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
