The Opportunity
Ramsay Health Care is embarking on a global digital transformation to strengthen its digital and data capabilities, enhance efficiency, and future-proof the organisation. Across our regions – Australia, France, UK and Nordics – cultivating the right digital mindset and literacy among our staff and partnering doctors is essential to our success and culture. The Global Lead of Digital Mindset and Literacy will spearhead strategies to ensure all employees and partnering doctors are equipped with the digital skills necessary to thrive in an evolving healthcare landscape. Reporting to the Group Chief Digital and Data Officer, this role will work closely with the Group CPO, leadership teams, and regional people teams to shape and promote digital literacy and mindset, driving the success of our transformation goals.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need exceptional leadership, digital expertise, and cross-cultural competence. You should possess strategic thinking, excellent collaboration and communication skills, as well as experience in change management. A background in healthcare and the ability to drive transformation in a rapidly evolving environment will be key to your success.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and implement digital mindset and literacy strategies that align with the organisation’s objectives, transformation initiatives, and the unique needs and culture of each region and workforce cohort.
- Work closely with key stakeholders and the Change Management Team to identify gaps in digital mindset and literacy, developing targeted learning programmes to address them.
- Empower regional leadership to promote the adoption and awareness of digital tools and technologies across the organisation.
- Establish and track metrics to measure the success of the digital mindset and literacy programme, providing regular progress updates.
- Collaborate with HR and People leaders to integrate digital mindset and literacy into performance reviews, talent acquisition, rewards, recognition, and career development.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to ensure the organisation stays informed about emerging trends and best practices in digital mindset and literacy.
Your Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Education, Organisational Development, or Business Administration.
- At least 15 years of experience in organisational culture, education, or a related field, with healthcare experience preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and regions.
- Strong capacity for generating innovative solutions and tackling complex challenges to drive change and innovation within a large global organisation.
- Willingness to experiment with different approaches and embrace a test-and-learn mindset.
- Proficient in fostering collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to cultivate a culture of trust and empowerment.
- Dedicated to ongoing learning and development, with a proactive attitude toward acquiring new skills and adapting to change.
