Accountant - Finance

The Opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for preparation and reporting of financial accounts, including account reconciliations and use of analysis and reporting to maintain the integrity of data in the General Ledger to ensure that the Hospital’s financial and operational objectives are met.
Remuneration: On offer is base annual salary ranging from $95,000 - $105,000 + superannuation, depending on level of experience and qualifications.
About You
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
Essential
- Qualifications in Financial or Management Accounting disciplines
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role
- Commercial experience dealing with financial reporting, financial systems and maintenance of the General Ledger
- Thorough understanding of accounting issues and duties
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills
- Ability to interpret financial information and identify areas of concern
- Ability to set standards, targets and objectives, and then coordinate work plans to ensure success in meeting same
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience using SAP
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft products, and advanced skills in Excel.
Desirable
- Previous experience in the health care sector
- CA/CPA qualifications.
