Patient Service Assistant
Pindara Private Hospital, Benowa
The Opportunity
Pindara Private Hospital is one of the few hospitals in Australia with a specialised unit dedicated to neurosurgery. Our Neurosurgery Unit 3E, consists of a 25-bed ward supported by a four-bed close observation unit.
This is a permanent part time opportunity to work as a Patient Service Assistant. Your duties will include:
- Provide patient care where required or supported by clinical staff members
- Performing cleaning duties in patient rooms and common areas
- Assist patients on arrival and allow them to settle for their admission.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities.
You will also hold;
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services or Care Support Services (Desirable)
- Experience within a clinical hospital setting
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Solid understanding of hospital operations, medical terminology, and quality patient care
- Understanding importance of infection control and manual handling guidelines
Remuneration
On offer is an attractive base salary + superannuation. Based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
