About the Role
Work alongside a professional and supportive Health Information Services Team and be responsible for efficient management of the digitised medical record to support patient care. You will provide support in various administrative functions.
This will include but is not limited to:
- Actioning enquires from both internal and external customers
- Processing requests for information
- Collection and delivery of medical records from various hospital areas
- Managing the digitised medical record, including prepping, checking, scanning and quality control
- Providing assistance to the Clinical Coding team to meet KPIs
- Performing general department duties as required.
About You
You will be a highly organised and process focused professional with previous experience in medical records or another clerical position within a health care setting.
Critical to this role is high level of accuracy, attention to detail and efficient time management.
You will also demonstrate:
- Strong customer service skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
- An ability to prioritise your workload to maximise efficiency in your role
- A strong level of computer literacy/knowledge
- Ability to manage confidential patient data through our Medical Records Systems.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate of $27.99 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
