About the Role
Nambour Private Hospital is seeking a proactive, determined, and passionate Chef to join our Catering team! Work closely with the Head Chef in a modern, well maintained, and equipped kitchen and work with a brilliant, engaged team of people who are focused on the best hospitality experience for our patients.

You will become a vital member of our team providing support to the head chef and catering manager through the preparation and serving of high-quality food and meals to patients. Work in a well organised stress free environment encompassing a 1 week cycling menu In addition, you will:
- Ensuring all meals are presented in appropriate proportions, of the correct temperature and according to the menu request of customers.
- Preparing food for functions as required
- Ensuring high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Assisting in the ordering of all food stock, ingredients, supplies and equipment
About You
You will serve as a positive role model by promoting a culture that is supportive, welcoming, collaborative, and forward-looking.
You will also bring:
- Certificate III in commercial cookery or equivalent skills from previous experience
- Previous experience in a hospital kitchen (desirable, although not mandatory)
- Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety
- Commitment to excellence in preparation and supply of food services
- Commitment to excellence in hygiene standards
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate of $35.53 + weekend & P/Holiday penalties plus applicable allowances plus superannuation based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
