Administration Manager

Albury Wodonga Private Hospital, West Albury

 

The Opportunity

The Administration Manager will be responsible for the management of patient administration services throughout the Border Network. This is a permanent full-time role.

This is a key leadership position which will see the successful candidate:

  • Engage in various administrative tasks and projects to actively build your knowledge and improve workflow processes.
  • Support the daily management of administration departments across The Border Network and assist in the hiring of the departments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all patient administration services.
  • Lead the reception, admin pre admission team, and Practice Managers.
  • Work collaboratively with VMO’s, Executives and other department managers to achieve KPIs and organisational strategic directives.

 

Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will have exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing coupled with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others to achieve results. You will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail and a keen commercial acumen.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Front office management experience within proven ability to manage a team, ideally within a health care environment.
  • Clinic Practice/Private Practice process experience would be desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage individuals and work groups/Rosters for a large team.
  • Knowledge and ability of working to key performance indicators and budget constraints.
  • Control and monitoring of Administration related KPIs.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to adapt to changes.
  • Ability to understand and apply the practicalities of health fund contracts.
  • Ability to achieve quality outcomes for all stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Medical terminology.
  • Experience using Meditech or similar patient administration software highly desirable.

The Hospital

Ramsay Health Care in the Border region manages the Albury Wodonga Private Hospital and The Border Cancer Hospital.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
