About the role:

Our Medical Officer is responsible for managing the acute clinical care of patients and assisting in the provision of an efficient, safe and professional medical service to all patients in the Hospital in liaison with Specialists/ Visiting Medical Officers (VMO’s).

 

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a strong clinical skillset with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of patients across our facility including medical, & rehabilitation patients. You will also have exceptional communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will also bring:

  • General registration with AHPRA with current clinical experience
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience
  • Demonstrated skills and clinical knowledge to manage a broad spectrum of presentations including medical, and rehabilitation patients from a trauma informed perspective
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required. 

 

The Hospital

Ramsay Clinic Thirroul is a 43-bed female patient only unit/day program providing a safe environment where women can deal with trauma-related mental health presentations via specific comprehensive recovery focussed programs.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
