We are seeking an experienced Catering Assistants to join our team at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, multiple causal positions available.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic, well-presented individuals to join our professional guest orientated Food Services team.  In this role you will be responsible for preparing, plating and delivering patient meals, ensuring a clean environment is maintained and the collection and cleaning of meal trays.  To be successful you will have exceptional customer skills and the able to work in a fast paced environment. You must be available for both morning and afternoon shifts on a 7 day rotating roster.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a hospital or hospital environment
• Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
• Proven ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
• Ability to problem solve and maintain good working relations with others
• You set high standards for food safety and infection control
