About the Role

As a Registered and an Enrolled Nurse working within our friendly 2C cardiac ward, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered.  Your role will include looking after a diverse range of patients requiring telemetry and preparing patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic procedures.

Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and treatment to meet the unique needs of both the patient and their family.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong clinical skillset in an acute care setting with experience in Cardiac will be highly regarded. You are passionate about nursing and love working in a positive and effective team environment.

You will also have the following:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
  • IV Qualified
  • Ability to be in charge of shift out of hours (highly desirable for Registered Nurse)
  • Previous experience in a cardiac unit preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
  • Exceptional customer service and time management skills

The flexibility to work all shifts on a rotating roster will be crucial to this role.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
