The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic professional with a strong passion for providing exceptional customer service to join our diverse administration team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality customer service in the coordination of administrative functions across the hospital, primarily in the front office and reception, through to the wards. This will involve but not be limited to providing support and assistance to the administrative and clinical teams as well as patients and relatives, by coordinating the clerical requirements for patients from admission to discharge.
Shifts will range from 2 up to 5 days per week (dependent on staffing needs at the time), with the eventual potential to obtain a PPT position.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, responsible, and self-motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal and telephone communication skills.. It is essential that you have a strong focus on detail, highly developed relationship skills, commitment to customer service and a ‘can do’ approach, and an unwavering commitment to client confidentiality.
You will also bring:
- Experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with Meditech or similar patient data management system (Desirable)
- Understanding of Health Funds and patient eligibility (desirable)
- High attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and within a team structure
- High level of competency in computer and Microsoft Office skills

Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $27.32 - $32.60 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of casual loading, penalties or allowances. (QLD Clerical EA gr1 Yr1- gr2 Yr6)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
