The Opportunity
As a Registered Nurse you will execute responsibilities under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
This role specifically involves working in our Surgical Centre as a Scrub Scout/Anaesthetic Registered Nurse. This role you see you primarily working with our Ophthalmic patients and providing appropriate care.
Your duties will include (but not limited to):
- Providing technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia.
- Completing Scrub/Scout duties across a variety of surgical procedure types, primarily working with our Ophthalmic Surgeons.
- Responding to unexpected outcomes and uses problem solving skills to respond to emergencies.
- Compliance with all legislative requirements in the workplace including occupational safety and health acts and workers’ compensation.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse
- Minimum two (2) years in a nursing role essential. Ophthalmic and Surgical experience will be favourable.
- Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
- Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
Remuneration
On offer is hourly base salary ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
- Ramsay will require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
