Group Facilitator (Grade 2)
Adolescents Service (14 – 22 years)
Part Time – Adolescent Day Program and Adolescent In-patient
15 hours weekly Tuesday and Wednesday
Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist with current APHRA registration or Social Worker with Professional Body Membership
Inpatient Program: The Adolescent Unit (ages 14-22) offers specialised inpatient care for young people struggling with emotional or behavioural difficulties.
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Eating disorders
- Self-harm or suicidal thoughts
- Attachment/relationship difficulties
- School refusal
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Social and behavioural problems
Day Programs: We offer a variety of evidence-based group therapy programs designed to address specific needs. These programs help young people develop coping mechanisms, manage symptoms, and prevent relapse.
Seeking a motivated, enthusiastic applicant who has effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary team, and experience facilitating group therapy with young people.
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in mental health and group facilitation
- Training and experience in therapy modalities (CBT, DBT)
- Able to plan, organise and facilitate skills groups
- Skill in engaging young people
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Exceptional customer service skills and,
- Commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to adolescents seeking mental health treatment.
This role is:
- Group program is sole facilitated but is part of an adolescent specialist multi-disciplinary hospital team
- CBT and DBT informed
- Therapist creativity and flexibility in delivery of group content is desired
- Capacity for in-depth work with clients.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
