Environmental Services Team Leader

Full Time Role – Evening shifts
The Opportunity
This opportunity will have you leading a brilliant team of people responsible for supporting them to provide the highest standards of cleanliness to all areas of the hospital.
The duties in Environmental Services include:
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres
- Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
- Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
- Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved.
In addition to assistant with the above duties you will also assist the Environmental Services Manager with daily operational requirements, payroll, and audits. This role is Monday – Friday and will have you leading the afternoon/evening shifts from 2.50pm - 11.20pm.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a good work ethic that includes punctuality, integrity, respect for others and a commitment to professional practice. Overall, you will demonstrate highly developed communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. You are a positive and influential leader and love to see your team succeed.
You will also bring:
- Demonstrated experience in hotel or hospital cleaning, or similar cleaning role
- Experience using auto scrubbers and polishing machines is desirable
- Thorough understanding of chemical safety and hazard principles
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure and independently as required
- Act in a professional manner at all times when dealing with customers and staff
- Intermediate computer skills
- Excellent time management skills

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
