Clinical Nurse Specialist – Medical Ward
North Shore Private Hospital, St Leonards
The Opportunity
This is a Clinical Nurse Specialist role that will see you working full time supporting our Medical Ward clinical team.
You will have the opportunity to work in an active leadership role, including the development and provision of evidence-based clinical nursing, whilst working and collaborating within our multidisciplinary team.
As Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising the delivery of quality patient care, developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice and you will be responsible for delivering quality improvement initiatives within our medical ward.
Skills and Experience
You will have exceptional customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills and also meet the following criteria:
- Relevant registration with the AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years in acute care specialty as a Registered Nurse
- Ability to work rotating roster
- Post-graduate qualification, undertaking same or working towards
- Excellent time management skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills to ensure excellence customer service is delivered.
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate of $53.56 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Specialist)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
