The Opportunity
The Environmental Services Department is looking for an experienced and adaptive Wardsperson to join our supportive team. In this role you will provide support and assistance to the clinical and non-clinical teams across the hospital.
This will include (but not limited to):
- The completion of delegated tasks to support the clinical teams
- Customer service activities
- Patient transport
- Assist with collection with linen and disposal of waste from the wards
Skills and Experience
This role will suit an individual with experience in patient manual handling along with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
To succeed you will have a passion for delivering exceptional client care in-line with Ramsay's core values. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible with shifts and have a strong team and customer focus.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
- High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Availability to work across all shifts including morning, evening, night and weekends is essential for this position
Importantly, you will bring a client-first attitude with a desire to assist our patients.
Remuneration
On offer is hourly base salary ranging from $28.31 - $28.49 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
