Opportunity for an ANUM to join our brand new DOSA anticipated to open in April 2025

 

Beleura Private Hospital is excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA) Unit in early April 2025. The DOSA will be an essential component of our perioperative services, ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the hospital. Our DOSA unit will be responsible for the admission, recovery, and discharge of all day-stay patients, as well as admitting overnight stays preoperatively.

Specialties include orthopaedics, plastics and reconstructive, urology, general, oral and maxillofacial, vascular, endoscopy, and ophthalmology.

 

Our new unit is seeking a passionate Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to support the Nurse Unit Manager in leading our dynamic team. This opportunity is permanent full time or part time for the right candidate.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a comprehensive understanding of the DOSA environment, along with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams.

You will also:

  • Have a passion for providing excellent patient care and delivering exceptional customer service in alignment with Ramsay's core values.
  • Have strong communication skills will help you effectively manage the dynamic nature of this fast-paced environment.
  • You will demonstrate leadership qualities, guiding your team through challenges while maintaining the highest standard of patient care.

Your ability to mentor and support your team will be key to ensuring their success.

 

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in DOSA or a similar nursing environment
  • Proven clinical leadership experience
  • Post graduate qualifications are desirable. 

 

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $ 57.76 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager yr1-yr2)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
