About the Opportunity

Position: Occupational Therapist – Grade 2

EFT: 37.5 hours per fortnight (0.5)

Location: WREN based at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, Melbourne

Renumeration: Salary range: $45.07 to $55.06 per hour (as per current Ramsay Health Care Victoria Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement 2023) + super + higher qualification allowance if applicable. 

This position will work within Wren’s inpatient unit service as an occupational therapist, you will be responsible for providing evidence based occupational therapy group and individual interventions to participants admitted to this service.

• You will work collaboratively with participants, their networks and multi-disciplinary team members to provide effective short-term interventions to participants at Wren with complex presentations
• This role requires you to facilitate groups with participants at Wren
• You will support opportunities for quality improvement and service development at Wren
• This role will contribute to the ongoing learning and professional development of the Wren team.

About You

• Enthusiasm, compassion & ability to work collaboratively 
• Degree in Occupational Therapy 
• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience in facilitating groups within the field of acute mental health
• Experience working within the field of eating disorders
• Experience working within the field of perinatal mental health
• Experience working within an acute mental health inpatient unit.

Requirements

• You must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• You must provide a current Working-With-Children check
• You must provide proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
