The Opportunity

This is a highly specialised position designed to provide technical support and advice to the Cardiac Catheter Lab, ensuring an efficient and timely service provision to our team of Electrophysiologists and Cardiologists.

Participating in a dynamic and highly experienced and knowledgeable multidisciplinary environment, you will be expected to work independently; be innovative and able to make a valuable contribution to the continued excellence of the cardiac services of the Hospital in particular in cardiac and haemodynamic monitoring including electrophysiology studies.

John Flynn Private Hospital Cardiac Catheter Lab support Cardiac Intervention, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, Vascular and Interventional Radiology procedures.

About you

Highly Desirable Selection Criteria

• Bachelor of Science or Applied Science
• Cardiac Electrophysiology Institute of Australasia (CEPIA) or Internal Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) qualification
• Advance knowledge of ECG recording and interpretation
• Experience in all aspects of haemodynamic monitoring
• Experience in Electrophysiological studies
• Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and independently
• High level of computer literacy

John Flynn Private Hospital is a 354 bed, acute care hospital located at Tugun, which is on the southern end of the Gold Coast, within 5 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport. The hospital provides services to the population of the Gold Coast and the Tweed Coast extending into the NSW Northern Rivers area.
