Senior Occupational Therapist | Temporary full time: 12 months contract with possibility of extension
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the private inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a clinical caseload through comprehensive assessment, intervention and discharge planning
- Co-ordination of the Occupational Therapy rehab team including Occupational Therapists and OT Assistants
- Advising, consulting, and liaising with other MDT coordinators to ensure quality service delivery.
- Initiating and coordinating quality improvement projects to enhance the delivery of occupational therapy services, streamline processes, and achieve better patient outcomes.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, or equivalent, with AHPRA registration
- Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to contribute to the development and promotion of a cohesive and interactive team
- Flexible and positive approach to work.
