The Opportunity
Our customer focused administration team are responsible for ensuring the seamless patient health journey. The team are here to effectively support all clinical and non-clinical areas of the day surgery. As a first point of contact for our patients and their families, you will strive to deliver an exceptional customer service experience for all.
The key tasks within this position will include:
- Reception and Administration responsibilities – handling enquiries from patients and their families, and also Doctor’s and their support staff
- Provide timely and accurate information in response to queries by patients, Doctors and other customers
- Efficiently and accurately perform pre-admissions and admissions processes
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have prior experience working as a medical administrator (completion of a medical terminology is desirable).
You will display an unwavering commitment to delivering customer service excellence each and every time and understand how to leave our customers with a professional and positive impression of our site, all in line with our Ramsay Core Values.
In addition, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities. You will also have exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders at all levels to achieve positive outcomes.
You will also demonstrate:
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Intermediate-advanced computer skills utilising the Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy
- Previous knowledge and experience working across switchboard reception, and pre-admissions settings is desirable
- Experience using Patient Information Systems (i.e. Meditech) is desirable

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
