The Opportunity

We are seeking a Floor Coordinator to support our Perioperative Department. As a Theatre Floor Coordinator, you will lead a passionate team of clinical nurses, collaboratively work, and consult with doctors to ensure the best practice and patient outcomes are achieved. Your key focus will be to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our 17 operating theatres.

Availability to work a variety of morning and afternoon shifts, Monday – Friday is essential to be considered.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of four (4) years perioperative nursing experience
  • Previous experience of floor coordinating in Operating Theatre will be highly regarded
  • Clinical leadership experience or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications desired
  • A sound understanding and management of KPIs, staffing allocations and problem solving skills are crucial
