About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Clinical Nurse to join our high performing and energetic 43 bed Medical/Surgical team on a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave.
This direct leadership role will see you supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and act as a professional resource, lead, and support person for your fellow team members, and to provide patients with a high standard of dedicated and specialised care.
You will also be required to participate in Quality improvement Programs in line with organisational and departmental strategic plans.

Your Skills and Experience
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within an acute medical/surgical ward
- Proven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professional
- Possess excellent time management skills and well development clinical problem-solving skills
- Experience in portfolio management of Nursing standard and Quality improvement will be highly regarded.
- Team Leading experience and knowledge of good leadership qualities.
- A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance.
- Post graduate qualification in specialty area desirable but not essential.
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Caboolture Private Hospital is a fully accredited surgical and medical hospital situated in the outer Northern reaches of Brisbane. This hospital has 43 beds, 3 fully equipped operating theatres, a 12 chair Day Procedure Unit and a comfortable day oncology unit. The Hospital is collocated with Caboolture Public Hospital.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
