The Opportunity

An exciting casual position is available for an enthusiastic dietitian who possesses strong knowledge and experience. If you are interested in joining a committed, compassionate, and highly respected team, we would love to hear from you. 

Your duties include but not limited to:

• Provide dietetic services within all ward areas of the Hospital, including inpatients, day program and outpatients
• Deliver nutritional related patient education in both 1:1 and group settings
• Effectively provide assistance and support to the relevant Manager/s in the effective delivery of dietetic services within the Hospital
• Have demonstrated experience working in a multidisciplinary team

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following criteria:

• Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a Bachelor of Science and post grad Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
• Demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working with people with eating disorders 
• Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage a diverse case load
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• High standard of customer service and a team approach
• Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice
• Membership with the Dietitian’s Association of Australia (Desirable)
• Previous experience in a hospital setting (Desirable)

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
