The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join our management team at Hunters Hill Private Hospital as a Clinical Coordinator!
As the Clinical Coordinator of our combined Surgical & Rehabilitation Ward, you will be responsible for working with and supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical staff in a hands-on clinical capacity, achieving excellence in the delivery of patient care in line with best practice and legislative requirements. This critical role in a small hospital assists in the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the wards as well as support the NUM in providing strategic direction to the unit.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Current APHRA registration
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in both surgical and medical/rehabilitation services
- Experience as a Team Leader/in charge position
- Experience in providing education, preceptorship and training to staff
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft essential)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Progressive & positive “can do” attitude with lateral problem-solving abilities
- Ability to provide leave relief to the NUM
Remuneration
On offer is salary of $53.56 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Specialist).
