Greenslopes Private Hospital is seeking a motivated and positive Nurse Unit Manager to join our friendly team within our General Medical and Stroke Ward

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and proactive clinician who is ready to take the next step as a Nurse Unit Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the General Medical and Stroke Ward. You will have a strong commitment to patient safety and customer services. You will have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the Doctors and Staff.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to quality care and evidence-based practice. You will need to demonstrate the ability to be solution focused and implement change principles to meet growth and demand.  Customer focus is a priority in all aspects of care delivered in line with Ramsay's core values. The successful applicant is required to provide support and mentorship to the team in all areas of management and facilitate opportunities for the team.

Skills and experience:

• Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Extensive experience in general medical
• Prior experience at a Nurse Unit Manager level will be viewed favourably.
• Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate, inspire and support others.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 Desirable:

• Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications and/or management qualifications
