The Opportunity
Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation (RHRF) is seeking a full time Clinical Trials Study Start Up & Research Project Manager who will join a small team of dedicated individuals working to support the clinical trials network.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to Ramsay sites, ensuring that study start up times can be met and that sites are supported operationally.
The role will also work on dedicated projects within Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation and Ramsay Health Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of contract review and budget negotiations processes to ensure that sites are able to establish clinical trials as quickly as possible following site selection.
- Provide assistance to clinical trials sites with administration, data entry, sponsor engagement and other activities as needed.
- Assist sites with doctor relationships and doctor recruitment to support ongoing expansion of the clinical trials network.
- Support the development of strategic partnerships and development of high-quality relationships with sponsors.
- Assist with the collection and maintenance of key KPIs for the clinical trials network.
- Assist with the management of the clinical trials pipeline, ensuring all sites are aware of upcoming clinical trials.
- Assist with projects and other research activities as required.
About you
As a Clinical Trials Study Start Up & Research Project Manager, you have:
- Experience in a research-intensive environment, with prior exposure to clinical trials or other clinical research activities and knowledge of research ethics and governance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and prioritise workload during busy periods.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Well-developed time-management skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with day-to-day operations.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and legislation related to human research ethics and research governance within Australia.
- Familiarity with using electronic research information management systems.
