Operations Coordinator - Environmental Services
Full Time Position
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the Manager - Environmental Services in the operational management of the department. This includes the leadership and management of staff to provide and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in line with required hygiene standards, infection control, and OH&S requirements in all areas throughout the hospital while delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Additionally, you will provide overall effective support contributing to the department in line with legislation and the department's strategic directions. You’ll be working within a fast-paced, team-focused environment within our Greenslopes Private Hospital. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Maintain positive relationships and strong communication networks with all stakeholders and other departments so that quality outcomes are achieved.
- Attend departmental meetings and read relevant communications while contributing to improving standards of services in line with the needs of the Hospital and its customers.
- Support and assist Ramsay Managers in their objective to make Ramsay a leader in corporate responsibility by reducing its impact on society and the environment and fostering an understanding of the principles of corporate responsibility.
- Be involved and support continuous improvement projects and audits being undertaken in the department and the organisation, actively support continuous improvement programs
- Identifies risks and hazards and reports promptly to ensure that safety measures are maintained.
Your Skills and Experience
- Qualification: Holding Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or working towards a tertiary management qualification, including MS-Office programs [Desirable]
- Experience in Hospitality Management or Healthcare setting [Desirable].
- Effective communication and interpersonal relationships to work with others in a constructive and collaborative fashion, including negotiation and problem solving.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a team environment. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads, Completion of all the required training, or willingness to undertake.
- Flexible to work a flexible roster with a variety of shifts available.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
