About the Role

Join our Day Surgery team and play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive safe and patient centred care during their surgical journey.

 This will involve, but is not limited to;

• Preparing patients for their surgery
• Providing timely admissions, post operative care and discharges
• Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care needs of patients
• Preparing, checking and administering medications in line with the registration standards, legislation and organisational policies
• Providing respectful and equitable treatment to all patients and staff, ensuring care is delivered professionally and promptly. 
• Work towards obtaining airway recovery and eye wick competencies

The flexibility to work across a six-day rotating roster is essential for this role. 

About You

The successful candidate will also meet the following criteria:

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse with 2 years minimum experience in an acute care setting
• IV Qualified
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care
• Ability to use initiative, self-motivation and work as a team member with supervision. 

Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $31.32 - $33.65 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA gr1-gr4) [ FTE $61,896.62 - $66,492]

Requirements
