About the Role

We are seeking energetic and innovative CSSD Team Leaders with a strong team focus to assist in the day-to-day coordination of the Central Sterilising Stores Department activities.  

In this role you will be required to coordinate and lead a busy team of CSSD Technicians and Assistants to ensure departmental tasks are achieved in an effective and efficient manner. You will work closely with the Nurse Manager to support the efficient management of resources within the department.

• This position requires an individual with the ability to be a positive role model and a passionate mentor.
• You will actively participate and action audit results and policy development, inclusive of Workplace Health and safety and Infection control practice.
• The ability to work a rotating 7-day roster is required

Your Skills and Experience

You will have exceptional communication skills and will be a passionate mentor with the capability to support and assist in the leadership of a team of professionals.

You will also demonstrate

• Cert III in Sterilisation
• Minimum 3 (three) years’ CSSD experience essential with demonstrated leadership skills  
• Extensive knowledge of standards & AS5369:2023 requirements
• Experience in competency assessment and staff training
• Previous experience with loans equipment highly desirable

Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $34.49 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
