About the Role

In this role, you will report to and be guided by the Clinical Manager – Sterilising Services and the Sterilising Services Supervisors. You will be trained to complete the cleaning, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of reusable medical devices (RMDs). Permanent full-time, part time and casual position available.

To ensure consistency and a continuous workflow between Sterilising Services, Theatres, Wards and Medical Suites you must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team while maintaining the high operational standards of the department.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in Sterilisation Services within a hospital setting. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Sterilisation (or currently enrolled in this course)
  • Previous experience in Flexible Endoscope and Ultrasound Probe processing desirable but not essential (no experience necessary)
  • Ability to work rotating am/pm roster and night duty

 

Remuneration:

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $32.36 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
