About the Opportunity
Position: Social Worker – Grade 2
EFT: 45 hours per fortnight (0.6)
Location: WREN Hospital in the Home Team based at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, Melbourne
Renumeration: Salary range: $45.07 to $55.06 per hour (as per current Ramsay Health Care Victoria Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement 2023) + super + higher qualification allowance if applicable
- This position will work within Wren’s Hospital in the Home Service, as a mental health clinician, you will be responsible for the provision of mental health care as well as effective mental health social work practice and services to participants, carers and the community, using individual and group evidence-based practice. Building on partnerships between mental health services and the community by networking and liaison with support persons and community services will be a necessary and significant part of the role
- This role will involve home visits to participants preferred location within an assigned catchment area
- This role requires you to facilitate groups with participants
- This role requires you to work shifts - Monday to Friday AM: 8am - 4pm or PM: 11am – 7pm or Weekends: 8am – 4pm
- You will support opportunities for quality improvement and service development at Wren
- This role will contribute to the ongoing learning and professional development of the Wren team
About You

- Approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership with Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Relevant clinical experience with experience in social work within a mental health-based context
- Relevant post graduate training in mental health (desirable)
- Australian working rights and be willing to undergo a Background Check
- Experience in facilitating groups within the field of acute mental health
- Experience working within the field of eating disorders
- Experience working within the field of perinatal mental health

Requirements
- You must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- You must provide a current Working-With-Children check
