Permanent full-time or part-time leadership opportunity as a Scrub/Scout in Neurosurgery.
The Opportunity
The Clinical Nurse – Neurosurgery role is an advanced level Registered Nurse who acts as a clinical and professional resource in all facets of caring for the patient whilst problem solving within the clinical setting.
The Clinical Nurse contributes to, and participates in:
- The education of all graduates and novice staff
- Participate and be involved in department orientation, in-service and clinical programs
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members
The flexibility to work a rotating roster including afternoon and evening shifts will be crucial to this role.
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum three (3) years post-grad clinical experience in Neurosurgery
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Passionate mentor with the ability to lead and support our team
- Proven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professional
- Postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant perioperative speciality (highly regarded)
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
