About the role
Join our team as sterilisation technician!
- You will play a crucial role in preparing surgical instruments and equipment for our clinical departments and operating theatres.
- You will work efficiently with your team to meet deadlines and ensure seamless surgical processes.
- Reporting to the CSSD Manager, you will collaborate closely with our professional team to support perioperative care and deliver outstanding patient care.
Duties may include but are not limited to;
- Providing timely sterile products, trays, and equipment where applicable
- You will be rotated in various allocated areas in the department
- You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSSD whilst practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department
About You
Your Skills and Experience
- To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum Cert 3 qualification in Sterilising Services
- Prior experience working in a Sterilising Unit
- Your positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team and independently as required
- You will be customer service oriented in both internal and external settings
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Remuneration: On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $32.64 + casual loading + superannuation based on experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties and allowances (VIC HSUA C.A.)
