2025 / 2026 Registrar – Orthopaedic | Full Time 
 
Joondalup Health Campus JHC is one of the largest hospitals in Western Australia, treating more than 70,000 inpatients on average annually.

Position Profile 
 
JHC Orthopaedic department comprises of 18 Consultants with 6 teams. There are 1-2 Senior Trainees and 6-7 Junior Service Registrars. These two positions run parallel with the general Orthopaedic service rotation pool. 
 
The advantage of this position is that it does not count towards your time as a Service Registrar yet still provides you with equal experience as being on the general pool. The position will ideally suit a candidate with the desire to enter Orthopaedics as a career. 
 
JHC is looking to employ Registrars with a salary range of $152,296.48 – $203,449.12 p.a pro rata (including base salary, 12% superannuation and professional development allowance). High overnight penalties are paid, and casual contracts are available to suitable candidates. 
 
 
Essential Criteria 
  • Registered as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (Medical Board) 
  • Knowledge of common Orthopaedic Emergencies 
  • Demonstrated great communication skills and team work.
 
Desirable Criteria 
  • Ability to help, assist and teach RMO/Intern as required  
  • Ability to participate in the on-call roster 
  • Attend and cover trauma clinic when required 
  • Utilize investigation tools appropriately.

Requirements 
  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months 
  • Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
