Location: WREN Hospital in the Home Team and Wren inpatient service is based at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, 31 Albert Road. Ramsay Clinic is ideally located close to public transport (Anzac Station) and there is onsite discounted parking available.

Position 1:
Social Worker – Grade 2 (Mental Health)
Wren’s Hospital in the Home Service
3 day a week position
7-day week roster / AM & PM Shifts
EFT: 45 hours per fortnight (0.6)
• This position will work within Wren’s Hospital in the Home Service as part of a multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively to support participants. You will be responsible for the provision of mental health care as well as effective mental health social work practice and services to participants, carers and participants networks.
• This role will involve home visits with the multi-disciplinary team to participants preferred location within an assigned catchment area
• This role will provide you with an opportunity to co-facilitate groups with participants
• This role requires you to work shifts across 7 days per week - Monday to Friday AM: 8am - 4pm or PM: 11am – 7pm or Weekends: 8am – 4pm.
• You will support opportunities for quality improvement and service development at Wren
• This role will contribute to the ongoing learning and professional development of the Wren team
• Wren in committed to supporting staff with education and professional development and offers many learning opportunities for its staff.
Position 2:
Social Worker – Grade 2 (Mental Health)
Wren Inpatient Service
4 day per week position
EFT: 60 hours per fortnight (0.8)
• This position will work within Wren’s inpatient unit service as a social worker; you will be responsible for providing both individual and group interventions that address psychosocial needs, support recovery, and promote safety, wellbeing, and connection to community resources.
• You will work collaboratively with participants, their networks and multi-disciplinary team members to provide effective short-term interventions to participants at Wren with complex presentations
• In this role you will have the opportunity to facilitate groups with participants at Wren
• You will support opportunities for quality improvement and service development at Wren
• This role will contribute to the ongoing learning and professional development of the Wren team
• Wren in committed to supporting staff with education and professional development and offers many learning opportunities for its staff
About You
To be successful in this role you’ll bring with you:
• Approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership with Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
• A strong passion for safe best practice & quality care
• Commitment to patient-centred care delivery & advocacy
• Enthusiasm, compassion & ability to work collaboratively
• Relevant clinical experience with experience in social work within a mental health-based context
• Relevant post graduate training in mental health (desirable)
Remuneration
Salary range: $45.07 to $55.06 per hour (as per current Ramsay Health Care Victoria Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement 2023) + super + higher qualification allowance if applicable

Requirements
• You must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• You must provide a current Working-With-Children check
• You must provide proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
• You must have a current Australian Driver’s Licence
