We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Theatre Orderly’s to join our dynamic theatre team.

 

The Role
As a Theatre Orderly, you will play an essential role in supporting the smooth operation of our operating theatres and ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting and supporting clinical staff during procedures.
  • Preparing and setting up theatres for surgical cases, including checking equipment.
  • Safely transporting patients between wards and departments.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring waste removal in line with hospital protocols.
  • Contributing to a safe and efficient working environment for staff and patients.

What You’ll Bring

  • Certificate III in Health Services (or equivalent qualification).
  • Previous experience in an operating theatre environment (highly desirable).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Physical capacity to undertake the demands of the role.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
  • A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
  • A genuine commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
