Fixed term full-time contract 
• Hybrid – flexible work arrangements 
• Location – Sydney, QLD or VIC
 
Lead the design and national implementation of a Recall Policy and Clinical Risk Framework, including governance and escalation protocols. Oversee the rollout of a centralised Recall Management System across all sites, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and procurement strategies. 
You will act as the clinical risk liaison across departments, providing expert advice on recalls and adverse events. Support hospitals with training and education on the new system and manage ongoing reporting and risk-informed lifecycle management.
 
Essential
 
• Demonstrated experience with recalls in a clinical setting.
• Intermediate knowledge of medical devices (consumables, implants, equipment).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to determine severity and required actions for recall-related events.
• Demonstrated experience leading organisational change and system implementation within a healthcare environment.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across clinical and non-clinical domains.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
• Organised, driven, and solution-oriented, with the ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
 
Desirable
 
• Direct experience in a clinical hospital setting, particularly within procurement, supply chain, or risk management.
• Familiarity with product recall processes, TGA notifications, and national/international regulatory frameworks.
• Project management experience with system implementations or clinical risk projects.
• Experience in change management and training large stakeholder groups
