The Opportunity
We are seeking Patient Services Assistants to join our dedicated ICU team at North Shore Private Hospital.
In this role, you will provide supportive care to patients and their families within the unit. Your main responsibility will be to assist the clinical team, in the provision of services and care for patients including patient transfers, manual handling activities, stock organisation, cleaning and general duties.
You will be report to the Nurse Unit Manager and work with a diverse team driven to exceed Ramsay’s high standard of care.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills both written & verbal
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Be customer-focused and demonstrate a willingness to learn
- Understanding importance of infection control and manual handling guidelines
- Basic Life Support Training
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate of $28.31 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
